LaserCard has been manufacturing the U.S. Permanent Resident Card known as the “Green Card” for the US Government over the past 10 years. The cards are based on LaserCard’s advanced Optical Memory Card technology.

Using its in-depth knowledge of the Green Card, LaserCard has developed the Green Card Authenticator to help identification of issuers, users and employers easily and quickly validate a Green Card document. In a matter of seconds, you can confidently verify if a Green Card is both authentic and still valid. At the same time the card’s optical stripe is read and displayed so the data contained in the card may be compared it to what is printed on the face of the card.

The Authenticator includes an Optical Memory Card reader that connects to a PC through a USB port, a USB cable, a power supply, card reading and authentication software and a user manual.
