The GET CP500 printer is available with an optional patch lamination module, the CL40. This add-on peripheral to the CP500 main unit allows the application of full, chip, and half patch laminates to the front and/or back surfaces of the card, in an automatic, integrated process.

The CL40 Patch Laminator offers dual-sided, high temperature, simultaneous lamination of the personalized card upon its ejection from the printer. The laminate, having a thickness of 0.5mm, offers additional durability to the card surfaces and allows for the application of registered holographic designs. Over-lamination is beneficial in situations where ID cards are used as badges or utilized in harsh and diverse environments.

The CP500 card printer is the only desktop 600dpi pigment ink retransfer card printing solution available, and is easily upgradeable to fit various project needs.

600dpi pigment ink technology makes the CP500 unique by enabling high resolution printing and also allowing micro-text printing, which adds extra security. Pigment ink technology also resists fading and leeching in plastic badge holders.

Together, 600dpi print technology, retransfer printer technology, and user-upgradeable features make the CP500 a unique and secure card printing solution.
