NET2 NANO 1 Control Units |
Net2 nano control units use secure wireless technology to communicate with the main server PC via a Net2Air USB or Net2Air Ethernet bridge. This means a dedicated data cable doesn’t need to be installed. The Net2Air USB Bridge connects directly to the server PC and has a wireless range up to 30m (typically 10m), perfect for smaller access controlled sites. The Net2Air Ethernet Bridge has the same wireless range but can extend the capability of Net2 nano via existing LAN/ WAN Ethernet sockets. |

Net2Air Site Surveyor |

Net2Air site surveyor is a two part tool consisting of a mains powered base unit and battery powered card. It is used to check for signal strength around a site to assist optimum placement of Net2 nano control units and the Net2Air USB Bridge or Net2Air Ethernet Bridge. It is independent of other Net2 hardware and can be used to confirm the suitability of the location before the Net2 nano control units are installed. |

The Net2 nano range of access control units use Paxton Access’ Net2Air wireless technology to communicate with the Net2 PC. The Net2Air USB Bridge provides the wireless communication link between the PC running Net2 software and Net2 nano control units. We recommend the use of the Net2Air site surveyor kit for checking signal strength around a site prior to installation.

Net2 plus Control Units |

Net2 plus control units take advantage of an existing Ethernet network to communicate with the server PC. This replaces running a dedicated data cable to each door and reduces installation times considerably. Control units are connected to the Ethernet using a patch lead with RJ45 plugs at either end. |
