Precise 100 MC, the second-generation combined fingerprint and smart card reader, takes biometric security one step further.
The Precise 100 MC uses 2-factor authentication, which means that you must present both a valid smart card, where fragments of your fingerprint are securely stored, and your fingerprint. The fingerprint is matched within the safe and tamper-proof environment of the smart card, using Precise Match-on-Card™ technology.
Precise 100 MC supports the US Department of Defense’s smart card security solution, the Common Access Card. It is compatible with the Precise BioMatch™ ProToolkit and the BioAPI-compliant Precise BioMatch™ Standard. |

To enhance security and privacy, all required biometric matching and smart card functionality is processed within the device using an embedded microprocessor platform. In addition, all information is stored and processed within the secure environment of the reader or the smart card.

The Precise 200 MC uses the patented Precise Match-on-Card technology which allows for the secure storing and matching of the fingerprint template to take place on the smart card. Security is optimized with 2-factor authentication requiring the user to present both their fingerprint and a valid smart card. Precise 200 MC is designed for Windows XP and 2000 environments, but integrates easily into other platforms thanks to CCID compliance and standardized USB interface. |
